A two-week field programme based at the Roman city of Bosra, studying its theatre, baths and streets on site.

Site reading and surveying, dating buildings from their fabric, an introduction to conservation ethics, field note keeping, and presenting a site to visitors.

Week 1: the theatre, the baths and the street plan, with daily field recording. Week 2: conservation practice, a supervised clean-up, and a group presentation of findings.
