مصر (مصر)

Egypt's population is young, and public and civil-society programmes have long combined vocational training with community development. Geography supports a wide range of outdoor activity, from the Mediterranean and Red Sea coasts to the Nile Valley, the Western Desert oases and the Sinai mountains. Vocational demand is strongest in construction trades, carpentry, metalwork, textiles and garment making, food preparation and hospitality, and agricultural practice in the Delta and Upper Egypt. Volunteering ordinarily takes the form of neighbourhood clean-ups, school and clinic improvement, and environmental work along the Nile and the coasts.
