الأردن (الأردن)

Jordan has one of the region's strongest youth-work traditions: scout and guide movements, university volunteering clubs and community-service initiatives are well established. Its varied geography — the northern pine forests and olive hills, the Jordan Valley, Wadi Rum's sandstone desert and the Dana Biosphere Reserve — makes it well suited to outdoor camping and nature-awareness programmes. Practical training needs concentrate on trades and services: carpentry and furniture making, metalwork, electrical and plumbing maintenance, tailoring, food preparation and hospitality. Community-service work typically focuses on school and community-centre improvement, park and street clean-ups, and tree planting, all of which require municipal or landowner permission.
