A five-week practical course in traditional olive-oil soap making and small-scale food production in Aleppo.

Oil and lye handling and safety, saponification, curing and cutting, packaging and labelling, food hygiene, and batch record keeping.

项目安排

Weeks 1-2: hygiene, materials and safe handling. Weeks 3-4: soap batches, curing and cutting. Week 5: food production, packaging and a finished batch for review.

出发前须知

需要携带的物品
Work clothes and closed, sturdy shoes. All tools and safety equipment are provided on site.

Every power tool is used under direct supervision. Eye and hand protection is provided and must be worn, and the workshop has a trained first-aider present.
Accessibility
Narrow cobbled lanes and historic thresholds; the workshop itself is step-free.
