It changed how I handle pressure

★★★★★

I went into Muscat Youth Development Programme in Nizwa expecting lectures and got something much better. The sessions were built around situations we actually face — exams, family expectations, arguments with friends — and we practised responses instead of just hearing about them. I still use the breathing technique before anything stressful. It sounds small; it is not.

I understand myself much better now

★★★★★

The facilitators at Muscat Youth Development Programme in Nizwa were good at asking questions rather than handing out answers, which was frustrating for the first day and exactly right afterwards. The group was small and honest, and by the end people were saying things out loud they had not said before. I left with a clearer sense of what I want and what I need to work on.

Quietly transformative

★★★★

Nothing about Muscat Youth Development Programme in Nizwa is dramatic, and that is the point. It is a week of structured conversations, small exercises and honest feedback, and it adds up to something real. I noticed the difference a month later, in how I handled a difficult conversation at home. The follow-up session was a good touch — it kept the momentum going.
