Seven days of supervised hiking and campcraft in the Qalamoun range north of Damascus, camping at fixed sites.

Map and compass work, pitching and weatherproofing tents, cooking on a camp stove, Leave No Trace principles, and recognising the mountain's plants and wildlife.

البرنامج

Days 1-2: kit checks, navigation and camp set-up. Days 3-5: guided day hikes between fixed camps. Days 6-7: a two-night expedition and a trail clean-up.

Sturdy boots, sun protection, a refillable water bottle and a hat. A full kit list is issued on acceptance.

All routes are walked by the supervising guide beforehand. No participant leaves the group, and the group carries a first-aid kit and a means of calling for help.
Accessibility
Narrow cobbled lanes and historic thresholds; the workshop itself is step-free.
