Supervised weekend clean-ups along the Nile embankment, sorting what is collected for recycling.

Safe manual handling, sorting waste into recyclable and non-recyclable streams, recording what was collected, and talking to the public about litter.

项目安排

Each weekend covers a fixed stretch of embankment. Teams collect, weigh and sort, and the totals are logged. Volunteers also brief passers-by on what the scheme is for.

需要携带的物品
Clothes you do not mind getting dirty, closed shoes and a refillable water bottle.

Work is in public places, in a group, under supervision. Heat precautions apply, and sharps are handled with gloves and collected separately.
Accessibility
Sandy and uneven ground; the field station itself is step-free.
